Every other month, foster, adoptive, and relative caregiver families are invited to bring their children to a free childcare event at Sarasota Christian Church. All volunteers are trained and screened to care for children so that parents can enjoy an evening out. The registration for SCC's Parent Night Out event will be made live on the Bridge a Life website several weeks before the event.

Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and registration will be closed once capacity is reached. Sarasota Christian Church accepts children from birth-12 years old and is unable to care for kids with special needs or medical issues.

Who: All Foster children ages 0-12 in Sarasota and Manatee County foster and adoptive homes.

What: Drop off your kids at a safe structured event while you go and enjoy some much deserved free time.

When: Saturday, June 2, 2018 1:00 PM – 5 PM

We will be serving Pizza or PB&J

Special Instructions: Drop off and pick up anytime between 1 PM – 5 PM. Please provide any items that your children might need- bottles, diapers, special cups or any other comfort item. LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH CHILD’S FIRST NAME AND YOUR LAST NAME. SEND A SEPARATE BAG FOR EACH CHILD. THANKS.

The Safe Children Coalition is hosting the annual foster parent appreciation dinner and Bridge a Life is teaming up with churches and individuals to offer childcare during the dinner. We need volunteers to help us at Sarasota Christian Church (2923 Ashton Rd) from 5-8:45pm. This is a great way to show our community's foster parents how appreciated they are!
